I do not care for shopping, but I still need to buy necessities. Luckily, I have found three different apps that give me cash back simply for uploading receipts on things I was going to buy anyway.
Receipt Hog
Receipt Hog is an app that gives you “coins” for every receipt you upload. You can then redeem your “coins” for rewards such as cash via PayPal or Prepaid Visa cards, or for gift certificates to major companies like Amazon. Each time you upload a receipt, you also get “spins” for a chance to earn bonus coins. You can choose to link your store accounts (like Amazon, WalMart, Fry’s, Starbucks, and many others) or your email account for virtual receipts. You can earn more points by taking very short surveys (less than a minute) and if you upload one receipt a week, you earn more bonuses. My cash back for this app is in the triple digits. They also have a referral bonus. Use my referral code: ting9778
Receipt Pal
Receipt Pal is very straightforward. For every four receipts you upload, you fill a “card.” Each “card” is worth 100 points. There is no minimum purchase requirement for receipts…which means when I spent a dollar at a convenience store for my daily Diet Coke, I can upload that receipt and get points. You can also connect your email account and store accounts to automatically upload the receipts for you. If you save up your points, you can get larger rewards. For example, right now a $5 Amazon e-gift card costs 2200 points, but if I wait until I have 9,250 points, I can get a $25 Amazon e-gift card. This app does not have a referral program, but the cash back is still worth the effort.
Fetch Rewards
Fetch is another app that only requires you to take a picture of your receipt – that’s it. You earn points no matter what. You can earn extra points if you buy products from popular brands (like Tostitos or Glad). Like the others, you can redeem your points for cash or gift cards. Use my referral code: U4J8B
